Woot woot. Spent at least an hour crying last night instead of enjoying prom!
It was raining, so everyone went up to the school instead of the beach for pictures.
Once we got to the school and took some pictures, my mum drove my sister and niece home since they weren’t allowed to stay for banquet. Instead of my dad taking this as an opportunity to spend time with me, he leaves to “put his jacket in his car” and disappears for over half an hour.
Then after the first bit of banquet, dad decided he didn’t want to stay for the rest of it. Why? Because he was unable to stay sober the whole night.
And then he gave me some bullshit excuse of “I don’t wanna drive home in the dark”… Caleigh and I have driven to his house countless times in the night full of rain and fog. If we can do it, so can he.
And, even if he couldn’t, his sister lives like 20 minutes away from me. He stayed there last night, there is NO reason he couldn’t stay agin.
I just wish that he would at least TRY to care about me.. I mean, like a month ago I wrote him this two page letter and I honestly thought things were going to get beter. But no.
He just pulls his usual and walks out on me.
